These one-to-one sessions integrate voice technique, breath, body awareness, and a holistic, whole-body approach to voice development. Sessions are guided in a calm, supportive and non-judgemental environment, allowing you to explore your voice at your own pace.
Whether you are a complete beginner, returning to singing, or looking to deepen your existing practice, this work supports both the functional development of the voice and a deeper connection to expression and self.
Voice work is not only technical – it is deeply connected to the body, the nervous system, and our lived experience.
In sessions, there may be brief moments of conversation or shared reflection. This is an intentional part of the work, helping to build awareness of how patterns in the body and daily life influence the voice.
These moments support greater ease, release of tension, and a more natural response. The focus of each session remains on your voice and development, with all elements working in support of that.
What to expect in your first session
In your first session, we begin with a brief introduction to understand your background, experience, and what you are looking for, where that is clear. This helps me to tailor the work to you as an individual.
I take a human-centred approach, where creating a sense of ease and openness is part of the process. This creates a grounded environment where your voice can respond more freely.
From there, we move into foundational voice work – including breath, support and body awareness – to establish a balanced and sustainable vocal setup.
Sessions are not rushed and develop progressively over time, with each step building toward greater confidence, control, and ease in the voice.

Through this integrated approach, you are supported to release tension, reconnect with your natural voice, and begin using it with greater freedom and confidence — not only as a means of communication or performance, but as a powerful way of sensing, expressing and regulating through the body.
For those wanting to focus more on performance, sessions can also support the development of stage presence, vocal technique, and confidence in a performance context.
Informed by many years of training, including a strong classical vocal foundation, an international performance career as a leading lady in musical theatre, and a depth of lived human experience, Marina meets each person with empathy, clarity, and deep respect for conscious awareness and their own unique journey.
The work is most effective when experienced over time, with regular sessions (weekly or fortnightly) supporting development through consistency and integration for lasting change in the voice.

First session (Introductory Rate) – $80

Extended Session (90 minutes) – $150

Session Location:
Sessions are held in a calm, private home studio environment. Please note that there are two friendly cats on the property, and they may occasionally be present in the space. This may not be suitable for those with allergies.
